The market for new home development has been exceptionally tough and while recovery remains patchy the incidence of business failure is at an all time high.

Insolvency practitioners wishing to complete and sell stock from part-built sites face a warranty dilemma. Generally to obtain 10 year warranty cover (necessary for mortgage approval purposes) provision must be made to manage build defects during the first 2 years following legal completion ( the Builder’s Liability period).

IPWS has been devised to address these requirements and provide the insolvency practitioner with a ‘walk-away’ position. Already operating in this market sector, we have a wealth of experience and resource to tailor our service to your specific needs.

How the service works:

A service contract is agreed between the insolvency practitioner and IPWS. We charge a single fixed-fee per plot to manage the 2 years Builder's Liability Period.
